Realistic Drama
"Mom, I am sick. I can't go to school." I complain to my mother who is still in bed and half asleep.
"Huh? Okay Will." she mutters at me (I was named Willamina after my father, William, who got lost on his way to the bar and forgot to look for a way home).
Yes! I am jumping up and down on the inside. On the outside my shoulders are slumped, my arms are hanging limp at my sides and I am using the wall to support me as I meander down the steps.
I'm in my bedroom, examining my old Barbie dolls. They have frizzy hair and most of their clothes have been lost. They make me remember that one time when my grandma bought me a Spice Girl doll, and my doll had a doll of her own. It got me wondering, what if I'm like a doll and someone is playing with me like I play with Barbie, directing everything I do and wear and what I say and where I go. I was amazed at the time by the thought, I mean what if!? But now thinking back, it is kind of creepy to think about not being in control of your own life. But on the other hand... how nice it would be if someone made all of my decisions for me? They would be in charge of choosing my college, and my boyfriend, and my job. Wouldn't that be nice? Life is so stressful sometimes... I just want to buy a mini fridge and a hot plate and lock my bedroom door and never leave. I want to live a stress free life. I am eighteen years old, I am developing a wrinkle between my eyes, and the other day I think I found a gray hair... Okay maybe the gray hair is an exaggeration. I decide all the stressful thinking if making me sleepy so I should lay back down and try to sleep. But after forty-five minutes of lying there with out the ability to fall asleep, I decide to text my friend Ira. He is a hipster, so I know he is home with nothing to do today. He has no school, no job, no responsibility, just his moms basement packed with his musical devices.
Ira, I'm home 'sick' from school. Lets have an ADVENTURE!
Five (million) minutes later he texts me back:
Okay Willa, lets do it. But do you have any money? My car is one hungry beast of a machine.
...Yes, if we go to the bank.
Thanks! I'll pick you up at... 9:23 for the greatest adventure of your life.
Sure thing Ira, sure thing.
I heard my momma leave for work about half an hour ago so I decided to get up and get ready. I take a shower, drink a whole pot of coffee with come crazy chai coffee creamer, and dig through my mess of a room trying to find something clean to wear...

i feel...
like writing something. but i dont have anything to write about. have you ever felt that way before? i feel like a message in a bottle. and the water pressure is pushing really really stong trying to open the bottle. but there is nothing even written on the paper in the bottle. so whats the purpose?
I just finished this book called Hush Hush it was pretty good. I feel like i need to reread the end cuz it didnt really make sense... it was good though. I really like the character of 'Patch' even if he was a cliche bad boy. but at one point someone says something about patch being his nickname but they dont ever tell us his real name. i was a little upset. cuz patch is a dogs name....
I need to go to bed it is 10:01.
but i cant make myself turn my computer off for some reason.

Romance
One beautiful starry summer night I went to visit my Aunt Luna whom is a fortune teller at the circus. It was right after the big show had finished up and there were still quite a few civilians hanging around. There was a line at the fortune telling booth and the smell of elephant ears was wafting towards me so I decided to grab one while I was waiting because really who can withstand that torture? As I was waiting in line you will never guess who decided to meander right up next to me and turn on the charm. It was none other then Bozo the clown. I ignored him the best I could, with his plastic flowers and never ending hankies. I tried really hard to ignore him, but he was excruciatingly annoying and I could not stop myself. I turned toward him and stuck my finger in his face getting ready to tell him off, when he did it. He squeezed the cute plastic flower on his chest, and luke warm water hit me square in the face. At that moment I wish I had a fish to slap him with. But nay, I had not but the hair on my head, the clothes on my body, and my five dollars to buy the elephant ear with. So I said, "Hay funny guy, I will give you five dollars if you get the hell out of my face!" he thought about it for a second with a finger tapping his chin, and finally in a bright squeaky voice said, "Okay." I breathed a sigh of relief, got out of line, and went back to my Aunts fortune telling booth, where thankfully the line was gone.
I go to push open the curtain, when someone taps me on the shoulder. I turn around and it is the clown. He has one hand behind his back and a crowd gathered behind him. How had I missed them following me?? I turn to run into the tent and hide because I am petrified of what this clown has in store for me. But the evil clown grabs my wrist and is to strong for me to break his grip. He has a wide smile on his face, and I see the hand hidden behind his back start to be unveiled, I close my eyes and hunch my shoulders waiting for my fate when.....
Nothing happens. I open one eye, then the other and gasp in surprise when I see... an elephant ear! I open the other eye and stand up straight. The dreaded clown got me an elephant ear? The crowd is roaring with laughter, and all I can do is blush. The silly clown hands me the elephant ear, kisses me on the cheek, and does cartwheels through the crowd and out of my line of sight.
