Revolution
Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
good read. sometimes it makes me upset that books that like have real people like Marie-Antoinette and all her 18th century friends are fake. because its like whats the point in lying to me about this HISTORY! it just makes me a little upset. Kinda like Anastasia. Dont even get me started >,[ Anyway. I thought it was going to be more about her going back in time and it wasnt... the part where she did 'go back in time' was surprisingly a lil short and im not sure what it really had to do with anything... i mean i see where it is a good thing. but... im not sure she really accomplished anything extradionry. maybe im just biased because i had Great Expectations. Oh and if you read it dont feel your self into thinking that the Amade Malherbeau musican man is real. because apparently hes NOT. but dont get me wrong it really was a good book. It takes place in Paris a place a love and i think it was more fun to read because i could vivadly imagine her in paris because ive been there. Its a good book. and i did a little bit of reasearch and did you know that Marie's oldest son died on my birthday.
Louis Joseph Xavier Francois de Bourbon, Dauphin de France
Louis Joseph was born on October 22, 1781, at Versailles, but only lived until he was seven years of age. The Dauphin died on June 4, 1789 in Mendon, France and is buried at the cemetery of Saint-Denis, Ile-de-France, France.
Matched
So i finished Matched by Ally Condie yesterday afternoon. and let me say it was very good. its along the lines of Brave New World and Herrison Burgernon and many many many more stories including one by Plato. It was really good. I could not decide how it would end exactly and i wasnt even sure how i wanted it to end sometimes! and i hear it is going to be a trilogy which thrills me because I really wanna know how it will offically end... because BNW and HB end in death. I do have to make a note that i kinda hate the dress on the front cover. whew i feel a lot better after telling you that.

I just finished Last Sacriface the sixth book in the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. It was pretty good. I am afraid it maybe wasnt as good as the previous books, but i think i felt the same way about the fifth book. I think i just cant wait for books to come out! i am just not patient enough. maybe if i would have read the first five before i read the sixth and i would have remembered everything and stuff i would have been more impressed. that isnt to say i didnt like the book, because i did.
I just stated Matched by Ally Condle its pretty good, im anxious to find out what happens...because i just cant decide.
I LOVE BOOKS. and i espically love Owning books. its just not the same when yopu get them from the library.

Sea Change - Aimee Friedman
From the moment Miranda Merchant steps off of Georgia and onto the ferry destined to sweep her off to Selkie Island she is ambushed with fairy tales of the Kracken and mermen. Miranda is six-teen years old and has a scientific way of looking at life, she does not believe in the things of legends and happy endings. She believes in science and logic and must see something before she believes in it, she is not afraid of being smart. She has gone to Selkie Island for the sole purpose of helping her mother get her late grandmothers house ready to sell and along the way Miranda’s personal beliefs are tried by everyone and everything around her. Throughout this book, a coming of age story, you see skeptic Miranda find out that life is full of secrets.
Overall, the story is fascinating but in the end everything was not wrapped up properly. The need to leave a little mystery is understandable so that a sequel can be made, but the ending was rushed and some crucial answers were left out, for instance are the Selkie Island Legends true? are Mermen real? It left one without that feeling of wholeness. On the other hand, the book was filled with just the right amount of southern girl charm and juicy secrets. The description and the reality of the relationship between the poor fisherman and the rich elite just there for the summer was perfect. Through the book the blemishes and the expectations of the southern upper class are exposed, and they are captivating.

The Devouring by Simon Holt
were a pretty decent series. i was a little surprised because i was just reading em to read something. i think i liked them cuz i havnt read the story line over and over again. ya know? nice girl falls for bad boy, and bad boy almost gets nice girl killed and it turns out bad boy really isnt that bad he just had a bed rep. blah blah blah yaaa nooo?
it was refreshing. The girl was strong and did not rely on a boy to rescue her because she was weak and frail and needed some boy to save her .) not that i dont like those books, i just get tired of reading the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. There was a boy and he did help her but she did not rely on him! he was not her crutch. get it?

Lucas
Bird House.
I was having a dream about vampires this morning! My clan of good vampires went to get this clan of bad vampires and i was like a princess! and i was just running around in like this balcony above everyone trying to stay out of the mess and not get killed and then my people captured all the bad people! but then this other clan comes in! and somehow two of them got on my balcony so i jump down to where everyone else is and then i was talking to the leader of the new clan that just walked in the door and for some reason the guy handed me a weapon and i set it down on the table and then a bunch more people came in the door and this guy in a bowler hat came up to me and reached behind me and stabbed me in the back! so i stabbed him in the neck. but then the pain of the guy stabbing me woke me up like i could feel it after i woke up. it was CRAZY!
yesterday i built a bird house! it is awesome opossum.
